John F. Mielo, DMD
Meet Dr. Mielo
Dr. John Mielo earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then attended The University Of Medicine and Dentistry Of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). At UMDNJ, Dr. Mielo received numerous honors and was named to the Dean’s List, as well as being elected to the Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Mielo completed his Advanced Training at the General Practice Residency (GPR) at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mielo has had the privilege of being a Clinical Attending Instructor at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 5 years. He has won numerous honors in his private practice, such as being named to the list of “Top Dentists” in New Jersey Monthly magazine.
Dr. Mielo also has the honor of serving his country as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserves Dental Corps. He is currently assigned to Fleet Marine Force and serves at Ft. Dix, NJ. Dr. Mielo has participated in several Humanitarian missions throughout the world as part of his military duties.
Dr. Mielo and his wife Patricia have a daughter, Emma, and twin boys, Peter and Andrew. Dr. Mielo enjoys spending time with his family and 2 German Shepherds enjoying the beautiful outdoors in Hunterdon County.
